Dog Yoga – a shared rejuvenation in the harmony of nature and movement

Fluss is a place where body, soul, and nature breathe together. And now, we've brought you one of the most special experiences: dog yoga on the banks of the Danube. If you have a four-legged companion, love being outdoors, and are open to deepening your connection, this class is for you. It's a shared journey where presence, touch, and movement elevate the owner-dog relationship to a new level.
What is dog yoga?
Dog yoga – or "doga" – is a loving, playful form of practice where what matters isn't how many asanas you can perform perfectly, but that you are together in the present moment. The movements are simple and mindful, the breath is calming, and the environment is healing. Yoga doesn't just recharge you – it recharges your dog too.
What does dog yoga give you?
- —Deepening the relationship Shared movement and attention help strengthen the invisible bond that connects you. Your dog senses the quality of your presence – and you sense theirs.
- —Natural stress relief The rustling of the trees, the scent of the water, the warmth of the dock – all these things together reduce tension and wash away the traces of a hectic life. It's a safe, balancing space for your dog too.
- —The joy of moving together This isn't a gym class. Here, the movements aren't mandatory but are opportunities. Dogs happily join in, lie down next to you, snuggle up, or simply rest while you do your yoga.
- —A friendly community A maximum of 8 dog-owner pairs practice at once, so the group is small, intimate, and accepting – just like the spirit of Fluss.
What should you pay attention to?
- —Only arrive with a calm, well-socialized dog who is comfortable around other dogs and people.
- —Have a leash with you – it can be especially useful during the warm-up and cool-down.
- —Bring your own yoga mat that you don't mind getting some dog hair or a few paw prints on.
- —Provide fresh water and treats for your pet to ensure they also feel safe and comfortable.
- —A towel is recommended if your dog likes to swim – our waterfront location often provides opportunities for a little "splash."
- —Arrive on time so the dogs can calmly get used to each other and the environment.
Where do we hold the class?
The Fluss studio in Soroksár is located directly on the banks of the Danube, with a dock, an artificial grass area, birdsong, and quiet promenades. A close-to-nature experience is guaranteed – ducks, swans, cyclists, and sunshine are frequent guests. The parking lot is nearby, but there is hardly any traffic.
